Wufu Confucianism Town

Wufu Town is situated in the southeastern part of Wuyishan City, Fujian Province, at the intersection of Pucheng, Jianyang, and Wuyishan counties (cities). It lies 51 kilometers from the city center, with the town government located in Wuyi Village. The town governs 11 administrative villages, one neighborhood committee, 3,764 households, and 15,468 residents, spanning a total area of 175.75 square kilometers. This includes 32,000 mu of arable land and 196,000 mu of forestland, making it an agricultural town characterized by “eight parts mountain, half part water, and half part fields.” Wufu boasts a beautiful natural environment, pleasant climate, abundant resources, and a dense population. It is renowned for its high-quality white lotus, red mushrooms, and field snails, and is one of the important agricultural and sideline product regions in Wuyishan City.
