Taipingyang Water Square

The water square is a paradise in summer. Formed 140 million years ago, it is a massive granite formation that spreads across the seabed and connects with the surrounding mountains. It stretches about 1,380 meters in length and reaches up to 150 meters in width at its broadest point. The flat rocky surface has been measured to cover a total area of over 110,000 square meters, with 48,000 square meters currently developed. The stone surface is smooth as a whetstone, seamless and free of moss, with evenly distributed water that only reaches the ankles, creating sparkling waves that form a spectacular sight.

The upper section of the water square is a 17,000-square-meter water-play zone where the water is only ankle-deep. Here, everyone can enjoy splashing, surfing, water fights, water tai chi, and water tug-of-war, finding fun and joy in various activities. The lower section of the water square is a super-sized natural swimming pool covering an area of 11,000 square meters with water depths ranging from 1.4 to 4.2 meters. Friends visiting this area can swim and enjoy the water, or rent a rubber raft to paddle and play. To the right of the Taipingyang Water Square, at the foot of the mountain, lies a stretch of flat and open farmland.
