Nestled beneath the towering and solitary Great King Peak, the tranquil Wuyi Palace is a must-visit attraction for travelers. The newly developed ancient-style commercial street forms a culturally rich environment that appeals to all tastes—unified in style yet diverse in form, with no two buildings alike. This 200-meter-long ancient street is laid out from north to south and includes architectural landmarks such as Wuyi Palace, Jade Emperor Pavilion, Pengzu Mountain House, Five Zhu Money House, Tea House, Local Village House, Hundred Joys, Clifftop Fragrance, Immortal Grace Pavilion, and Bidian Restaurant. It integrates tea culture, wine culture, and tourism culture. Each individual building is designed for convenient shopping, and the development of tourism has further driven the growth of commercial culture. The street’s architecture skillfully uses spaces such as doors, windows, and corridors as picture frames, incorporating the beautiful scenery of Wuyi Mountain to create a naturally picturesque view for visitors to enjoy. Additional elements such as floral walls, cloud-patterned walls, latticed windows, and water surfaces enhance the visual interplay. The tree-lined path paved with river pebbles, enhanced with landscaping and beautification, showcases a strong mountainous local flavor. Travelers from both China and abroad have praised the area’s beautiful environment, describing it as poetic and picturesque, filled with birdsong, floral scents, and an abundance of local character. A stone memorial archway stands at the entrance of the street, while an ancient-style gate tower is built at the end, imitating the architectural style of the Song Dynasty, with the “Zhu Xi Memorial Hall” serving as the focal point. Passing through the stone archway, you’ll find structures such as the Three Pure Ones Hall, Pengzu Mountain House, Five Zhu Money House, Tea House, Gobi Art Gallery, Wuyi Mountain Museum, and Bidian Restaurant.

The Song Street is lined with shops, featuring dozens of stores of various sizes where you can find a wide range of Wuyishan specialties, including Wuyi Rock Tea, snake-based products, and bamboo handicrafts. A stone memorial archway marks the street’s entrance, and an ancient-style gate tower stands at its end, modeled after Song Dynasty architectural styles.
