Xia Mei Canjun Mansion has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage conservation unit.

Xia Mei Village: Located east of the Wuyishan Scenic Area, Xia Mei Village is just 6 kilometers from the resort district. The village boasts a long history, rich cultural heritage, and profound cultural accumulation.

Over 30 well-preserved ancient residential buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties line the village, built along the stream. These include the grand residences of wealthy merchants, official mansions, and scholars’ academies. Among the most representative complexes are: the Zou Family Ancestral Hall, Zou Family Shrine, Cheng Family Hermit Residence, Xishui Villa, and Fang Family Canjun Mansion. These structures primarily feature brick-and-wood construction, with east wings, west rooms, pavilions, terraces, courtyards, and gardens — all meticulously laid out with exquisite craftsmanship.
