Shanqing Building

Shanqing Building is located southeast of Fuqing Building. It is a circular earthen building constructed in 1978, facing south with a north orientation, covering an area of 1,200 square meters. It has a single ring, a diameter of 31 meters, and three stories high, with 26 rooms on each floor. The interior features a connected corridor layout, with one main entrance and exit. The central courtyard is paved with granite.

Chuxi Village: Chuxi Village is under the jurisdiction of Xiayang Town, Yongding County, Fujian Province, bordering Luxi Town, Pinghe, Zhangzhou. It is 15 kilometers away from Xiayang Town. Located upstream of the Chuxi River, the village is thus named “Chu Xi” (Crude Stream Village). Nestled among verdant mountains and surrounded by clear waters, the area features lush pine and bamboo forests on the hillsides, with terraced fields cascading behind the buildings. The Chuxi Tulou Cluster consists of five circular buildings and dozens of square ones. Nestled against the mountains and beside the water, these structures are laid out in a well-balanced and picturesque fashion, showcasing exceptional aesthetic and artistic value.
