Fuxing Building

Fuxing Building is situated in the central part of Hongkeng Village, northwest of Zhencheng Building. It is a rectangular earthen building built during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty (1821–1850), facing south with an area of about 800 square meters. The three-story structure spans seven bays in width and four bays in depth, with a central courtyard and inner corridor layout. The first and second floors have no windows, and the building has two staircases, one door, and one well inside. The rear hall serves as the ancestral hall.

Hongkeng Village: Located in the northeastern part of Hukeng Town, about 5 kilometers from the Hukeng town center, Hongkeng Village is one of the key villages where the Fujian (Yongding) Tulou — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — is found. It is a renowned tulou folk culture village, a provincial-level garden-style village, and the site of a national 5A-level tourist attraction. The village has been awarded honors such as the Ninth Municipal Civilized Village, Provincial Health Village, Fujian’s Most Beautiful Village, Provincial Civilized Scenic Area, Tenth Provincial Civilized Village, Key Village of the City's New Rural "427" Construction Project, and “Cross-Strait Exchange Base.” The total land area of the village is 7,117 mu, with a population of 2,910.
