Qingsheng Building

Qingsheng Building is located in the southeast of Hongkeng Village, to the southeast of Zhencheng Building. It was built in the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937). This square-shaped earthen building faces southwest and covers an area of approximately 1,100 square meters. It has three stories, with seven bays in width and six bays in depth. There is a central courtyard and an interior corridor-style layout. The first and second floors have no windows. The entire building has four staircases, one main gate, one well, and the rear hall serves as the ancestral hall.

Hongkeng Village: Hongkeng Village is situated in the northeastern part of Hukeng Town, about 5 kilometers from the Hukeng town center. It is one of the key villages that host the Fujian (Yongding) Tulou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is recognized as a famous folk culture village for tulou, a provincial-level garden-style village, and the site of a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It has been awarded several honors, including the Ninth Municipal Civilized Village, Provincial Sanitary Village, Fujian’s Most Beautiful Village, Provincial Civilized Scenic Area, Tenth Provincial Civilized Village, Key Village of the City’s New Rural “427” Construction Project, and “Cross-Strait Exchange Base.” The village covers a total land area of 7,117 mu and has a population of 2,910.
