Qiaofu Building

Qiaofu Building is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Qiaofu Building is located in the northwest of Gaobei Village, Gaotou Township, west of Chengqi Building. It was built in 1962. This circular earthen building faces south and has a diameter of 45 meters, with three stories and an interior corridor layout. The building has 30 rooms (and halls) and one main gate. The second-floor corridor is cantilevered with wooden structures, while the third-floor corridor extends even further and features a waist eave, with the eave underside enclosed by wooden boards to serve as storage space. The ancestral hall combines both Chinese and Western architectural styles, protruding into the inner courtyard along the central rear axis, with four Western-style round stone columns on the facade. The inner courtyard is paved with granite. The building is enclosed by a wall in front, with an outer gate. It was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2013.

Qiaofu Building is known as the "Doctor's Building" because 11 of its residents have become doctors, including one female medical doctor. The building’s owner, who is 83 years old, greets every visitor upon arrival. The building features an interior corridor layout and an ancestral hall with a blend of Chinese and Western styles.

Yongding – Gaobei Village: Take the “Jinfeng Line” bus from Yongding County Bus Station, route Yongding–Gaotou (Tulou), departing at 7:25, 8:20, 10:30, 11:40, 13:00, 14:20, 15:15, and 16:30. The bus passes through Lishi, Qiling, Daxi, and Hukeng.

The ticket for the Gaobei Village Tulou Cluster is 50 RMB per person, including representative buildings such as Chengqi Building, Shize Building, and Wuyun Building.
