Yuanlou Tower

Yuanlou Tower is the largest of the Hakka tulou in Yongding, measuring an impressive 80 meters in diameter. Standing inside feels like being in a fortress, which is truly breathtaking.

Situated in Jingkou Village, Guzhu Township, Yongding, Longyan City, Fujian Province, it is the largest of the Hakka tulou, boasting a diameter of 80 meters and a circumference of 250 meters. The outer ring has four stories with 260 rooms; the middle ring has two stories with 60 rooms; and the inner ring has one story with 8 rooms. In total, there are 328 rooms, housing 80 families and around 500 people.
