The Longhu Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Yongding County is located in Yongding County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. Built around the Mianhuatan Hydropower Station, it is a reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area with a planned area of 44 square kilometers.

The waters of Longhu Lake are vast and misty, with endless blue waves. The lake is dotted with 68 islands—large ones standing like mountains and small ones shaped like boats—distributed in an artful arrangement, resembling lotus flowers rising from the water, each with its own unique posture. The lakeside is crisscrossed with peninsulas, where water embraces the mountains and the mountains nestle around the water, creating a charming and picturesque natural landscape. The bays of Longhu Lake are winding, some stretching over ten kilometers wide and flat, offering open vistas, while others narrow to just a single passage, leading through secluded paths like a labyrinth. The lake’s water is as clear as a mirror. The surrounding mountains are layered and undulating, with peaks vying for dominance in graceful forms, adorned with rare flowers and trees, lush green waves, and a rich diversity of species—a breathtakingly beautiful scene.
