The Fujian Tulou Natural Museum is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Fujian Tulou Natural Museum is located in the Yongding Hakka Tulou Folk Culture Village, a World Cultural Heritage site and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Invested in and established by Fujian Olive Tree Cultural Industry Investment Co., Ltd., it is the largest natural museum in Fujian Province and the only one built underground.

With a total investment of hundreds of millions of yuan, the museum covers an area of 13 acres and houses over 40,000 exhibits. The exhibition space is divided into eight major areas: the paleontological fossil specimen exhibition area themed around the evolution of life; the spectacular karst cave wonders featuring a variety of stalactites; the stunning mineral crystal and natural stone exhibition area; the colorful biological specimen exhibition area; the classic and elegant Hakka folk culture ancient street; the intuitive and systematic display of Hakka Tulou architectural techniques; the fun and interactive 4D oil painting experience zone; and the classic root carving art gallery.

Rich and distinctive exhibits

The museum boasts national treasure-level paleontological fossils such as giant sauropod dinosaurs, massive ichthyosaurs, and enormous sea lily clusters, along with over 500 types of mineral crystals and odd stones, more than 30,000 rare butterflies, and over 300 types of marine life specimens, offering a comprehensive collection. Utilizing modern advanced technologies such as sound, light, electricity, and temperature control, the museum innovates its exhibition methods, setting it apart from traditional museums. Each exhibition area is paired with vivid, colorful thematic scenes that integrate knowledge, fun, and visual appeal, creating a mysterious, magical, and breathtaking experience.
