It is a key provincial livelihood project in 2012 and an important platform for Yongding to build a "Cultural Yongding." By the end of February, investments had reached 105 million yuan. The Hakka Expo Park project is located in Dongxi Village, Chengjiao Township, Yongding County. It is planned to comprise 16 sub-projects, covering an area of 1,576 mu, with an estimated total investment of 1.05 billion yuan. Construction began in August 2008. Currently, major works such as the landscape boulevard Longxing Road and its branch roads, the mountain-looping highway, the Hakka Culture Museum, the Southern Migration Monument of Central Plains Han People, and most of the Surnames Stele Corridor have been completed. Construction has started on sub-projects including the Hakka Folk Performance Center, the Hakka Culture Square, the underground parking lot, Guanyin Temple, the viewing platform, and the memorial archway. This year, the plan is to invest 120 million yuan to complete the Hakka Surnames Stele Corridor, the Hakka Folk Performance Center, the Hakka Culture Square, the underground parking lot, the Hakka Culture Museum, the Southern Migration Monument of Central Plains Han People, and the main structure of Guanyin Temple by the end of June.
