Located in Fulin Village, Gaopi Town, Yongding County, Fuling Yulong Building—also known as the Grand Doctor’s Mansion—was constructed between 1828 and 1834 during the Qing Dynasty’s Daoguang reign. Oriented from southeast to northwest, it comprises a pond, screen wall, rain courtyard, gate tower, entrance hall, main hall, and main building. The structure covers a width of 40 meters and a total depth of 60 meters, and is a “Five Phoenix Tower” style building consisting of two courtyards, three sections, and corridor wings, with left and right wing rooms. It totals 120 rooms, 4 kitchens, 7 outer doors, and 16 inner doors. The main hall serves as a “Four-Point Gold” meeting and decision-making space, with a coiled-roof front porch. The main building stands four stories high, with a duplex room design, post-and-lintel beam framing, and a hip-and-gable roof. Its craftsmanship—including wood carvings, clay sculptures, and painted decorations—is exquisite, while inscriptions by notable figures, plaques, and couplets offer rich cultural significance.

Fulin Village: Situated at the northern gateway of Yongding County, Fulin Village borders Hongfang Town of Xinluo District to the north and Xianfu Street to the south. Known for its talented people and spiritual energy, as well as excellent transportation links, it is traversed by the Longyan–Meizhou Railway, Shuangyong Expressway, Provincial Highway Fusan Line, and an under-construction intercity expressway. The village hosts a highway interchange and a railway station. Among its landmarks are the world-renowned architectural marvel, the provincial-level protected “Five Phoenix Tower,” as well as the county-level protected “Tiger-Shaped Tianhou Temple” and “New Weilou,” all of which have histories spanning several hundred years.
