Yonghao Building

Yonghao Building is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Yonghao Building is located in Xinmin Village, Fushi Town, Yongding County. Also known as Wufu Building, it was built over 18 years during the Daoguang era (1821–1850) of the Qing Dynasty. The structure faces northeast and is situated southwest, comprising an outer gate, gate courtyard, inner gate, entrance hall, central hall, main building, and rear building. It spans an area of 10,672 square meters and is a large, mansion-style, square earthen building. The main building has four stories with eight rooms and one central hall; the left and right wing buildings are also four stories high, each consisting of four units. On both sides of the main gate’s open-air courtyard are two two-story brick-and-wood structures: a literary hall and a martial hall.

Xinmin Village: Xinmin Village is located in the northwest of Fushi Town, Yongding County, about 1 kilometer from the town center and approximately 33 kilometers from the county seat. The village comprises five villager groups: Jing tou Villager Group, Yonglongchang Xinlou Villager Group, Yonglongchang Laolou Villager Group, Baxin Villager Group, and Yonghao Building Villager Group. It has a total of 296 households and a population of 1,046. The village covers an area of 38.05 hectares, including 24.67 hectares of arable land, 0.83 hectares of forest, and 1.1 hectares of grassland.
