The former site of the Red Fourth Army Guard Company's garrison is located at Yude Hall in Hubei Village, Hugang Town. It was built in the early years of the Republic of China, faces west with an eastward orientation, has a square layout, and features an earth-and-wood structure, covering an area of approximately 400 square meters. On June 3, 1929, the Red Fourth Army, with the support of revolutionary forces from Longyan and Taiping District, successfully attacked Longyan City twice. Under the command of Mao Zedong, the First Column of the Red Fourth Army entered Hugang from Gaobei, and the Red Fourth Army Guard Company was stationed at Yude Hall under the fir trees in Shanxiamu, Hubei Village, where it carried out revolutionary activities.
