Qindingfang

Qindingfang is located on Dongmen Street in the eastern part of the town. Built in the 15th year of the Wanli reign during the Ming Dynasty (1587), it faces east-west and is constructed in a granite imitation wood style. It stands 9.6 meters tall and 9.6 meters wide, featuring a single-eave hip-and-gable roof with an additional double-sloped roof, spanning three bays and three stories. “Posthumously conferred to Hu Qing, Assistant Director of the Nanjing Imperial Stables, bestowed with the title Chengde Lang.” The lower level features stone drum and stone lion pillars. The bracket sets are of the one-dou-three-sheng style. Decorative carvings include motifs such as pine and crane, flowers, and cloud patterns. The plaques have been lost, some structural components are missing, but the main structure remains well-preserved.
