The site of Dongyue Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

The site of Dongyue Temple is located on Dongguan Street in NanZhao Town and is a county-level cultural heritage protection site. Built in 1593 during the Ming Dynasty, it was renovated in 1824. The temple faces east and sits west, with a depth of 50.79 meters, a width of 19.95 meters, and an area of approximately 1,200 square meters. It consists of a gate tower, corridors, an Eight Trigrams Pavilion, an offering pavilion, the main hall, and the rear hall. The main hall has three bays in both width and depth, with a post-and-lintel structure, featuring thirteen beams along the front corridor. In front of the main hall, corridors connect to the offering pavilion, which has a nine-beam curved roof. The main hall roof is a double-eave hip-and-gable style; the central columns are stone, standing 0.77 meters high. The main hall has two sets of bracket arms in the central bay and one set in the side bays. The central beam features an Eight Trigrams star design. Behind the main hall is the rear hall, which has three bays— one bright and two dark—with a small courtyard. The main hall is relatively well-preserved. The main hall of Dongyue Temple enshrines the Dongyue Emperor, flanked by the Ten Kings of Hell; the gate tower’s north side hall enshrines Guan Yu, while the south side hall enshrines the Goddess of Birth; the north corridor enshrines the Swift Report Division, and the south corridor enshrines the Merit Division. The rear hall enshrines various Buddhas.
