Description: Originally the ancestral hall of the Zhang family in Dou'e, it was first built during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1736–1795) and was renovated in 2012. It is a single-bay main hall with two side wings and a suspended gable roof, covering a construction area of 289 square meters and a total site area of 760 square meters. In 1929, after the failure of the Great Revolution, the 48th Regiment of the Dongjiang Red Army moved from Guangdong to Dou'e Village to evade the enemy. Starting in 1930, leaders and cadres of the CPC Raohepu-Zhao County Committee frequently came to Dou'e for rest and often held meetings in the Zhang family ancestral hall. It served as a hidden command post for the Party and the Red Army in the Wushan Base Area during the three-year guerrilla war in southern China. In October 1935, the Raohepu-Zhao County Committee was reorganized into the Yunhezhao County Committee. After the Yu’egang Incident in July 1937, all the former leaders of the Yunhezhao County Committee were killed. In August of the same year, He Jun, Secretary of the CPC Min-Guang Border Special Committee, sent Lu Dao to Dou'e Village to rebuild the Min-Guang Border Special Committee and the Yunhezhao County Working Committee. In 1941, the Yunhezhao County Committee was headquartered in the Zhang family ancestral hall, and in 1944, the Southern Fujian Political Security Squad was established here.
