The Ancestral Temple of the Shen Clan of Nanzhao is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Ancestral Temple of the Shen Clan of Nanzhao is located in Wuyi Village, Nanzhao Town, Zhao’an County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Facing south, it consists of a front hall, a courtyard, corridor wings, and the main hall, covering a construction area of 595 square meters. The main hall is five bays wide and three bays deep, featuring a post-and-lintel and through-tenon beam structure with a flush-gable roof. The ancestral temple has deep historical ties to Taiwan.

In 2013, the Ancestral Temple of the Shen Clan of Nanzhao was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: An extension of 20 meters outward from all sides of the ancestral temple.

The village has 1,467 households, with a total population of 6,049, divided into 25 villager groups. The village Party branch has 108 members and 5 committee members, organized into 5 party subgroups.
