The Li Ancestral Hall in Hougang dates back to the Ming Dynasty. It is located in the central part of Hougang Village, Sidu Town, and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On June 28, 2016, the Li Ancestral Hall in Hougang was designated as part of the 16th batch of County-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units in Zhao'an County.

Protected area: extends 100 meters east beyond the eaves’ drip line, and 2 meters west, south, and north of the lane.

Hougang Village: Located in Sidu Town, Zhao'an County, Hougang Village sits on the eastern side of National Highway 324, with Provincial Highway 309 running through the village. It is approximately 6 kilometers east of the “Dongshan Island” exit of the Zhangzhou–Zhao'an Expressway, 12 kilometers west of the “Jiuhou Famous Mountain,” 8 kilometers south of the southern gateway of Zhao'an, and 2 kilometers north of the Sidu Town government. The village area features large-scale tourist attractions including the Li Ancestral Hall, a second-grade primary school teaching building, a newly built village office building, the Li Boyao Cultural Museum, and the Zhanggong Temple.
