Xishen Seven Saints Palace

The Xishen Seven Saints Palace is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao’an County.

The Xishen Seven Saints Palace dates back to the Ming Dynasty. It is located in the southeastern part of Chengwaicun Village, Xishen Village, Qiadong Town, and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On June 28, 2016, it was designated as part of the 16th batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Zhao’an County.

The protected area extends 18 meters northward from the drip line of the palace eaves, and 2 meters east, west, and south respectively.

Xishen Village: Xishen Village is situated on the southern side of National Highway 324. It has 695 households, a population of 3,063 divided into 6 groups, and 87 Party members. The village covers a cultivated land area of 1,380 mu, including 959 mu of paddy fields, 421 mu of dry farmland, 3,499 mu of mountainous land, and 560 mu of fruit orchards. In 2010, the total rural economic income was 23.1 million yuan, comprising 13.6 million yuan from the primary industry, 3.58 million yuan from the secondary industry, and 5.92 million yuan from the tertiary industry. The per capita net income of farmers was 5,577 yuan.
