Guangping Longtian Tower

Guangping Longtian Tower is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao’an County.

Guangping Longtian Tower, dating back to the Qing Dynasty, is located in Tianmei Tower Natural Village, Guangping Village, Guanbei Town. It is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

On June 28, 2016, Guangping Longtian Tower was announced as part of the 16th batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Zhao’an County.

Protected area: extends 4 meters east, 4 meters west, 50 meters south, and 4 meters north from the drip line of the tower’s eaves.

Guanbei Town: Located in the northwest of Zhao’an County, Guanbei Town is about 50 kilometers from the county seat and lies at the junction of Zhao’an, Pinghe, and Yunxiao counties. Covering a total area of 150.4 square kilometers, it governs 17 administrative villages with a population of 59,025, all of whom speak Hakka dialects. The town has a subtropical climate, with an average annual temperature of 22°C, a frost-free period of 353 days, and annual precipitation of 1,600–1,800 mm. The total cultivated land area is 14,687 mu, and the mountainous area covers 179,362 mu.
