The Chishui Stream Bixi Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao’an County.

The Chishui Stream Bixi Ancestral Hall dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is located in Shuixi Village, Shenqiao Town. It is classified as an ancient building.

On June 28, 2016, the Chishui Stream Bixi Ancestral Hall was designated as part of the 16th batch of County-level Cultural Heritage Protection Units in Zhao’an County.

Protected area: extends 17 meters northward from the outer wall of the hall, and 2 meters east, west, and south.

Shuixi Village: Shuixi Village is situated in the northeastern corner of Shenqiao Town, adjacent to Xitan Township, approximately 5 kilometers from Nanzhao Town, the county seat. It is a village with a revolutionary history, with a population of 860 and about 200 households. Due to geographical constraints, residential buildings in the village are relatively scattered.

The village has limited arable land, with per capita farmland of less than 0.6 mu. The main sources of income for villagers are working outside the village, while agriculture focuses on longan, lychee, rice, and winter-planted mustard greens. In recent years, through hard work, villagers' incomes have significantly improved, and their living standards have also gotten better.
