The Wai Feng Ancient Beacon Tower Ruins are a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao’an County.

The Wai Feng Ancient Beacon Tower Ruins date back to the Ming Dynasty. Located at the summit of Zhenwu Mountain in Wai Feng Village, Qiadong Town, they are classified as an ancient ruin site.

On June 28, 2016, the Wai Feng Ancient Beacon Tower Ruins were designated as part of the 16th batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Zhao’an County.

Protected Area: Extends 80 meters east, west, south, and north from the center of the beacon tower.

Wai Feng Village: Wai Feng Village is located along National Highway 324. The village has 550 households, a population of 2,170, and 4 villager groups, with 84 Party members. The cultivated land area covers 745 mu, including 357 mu of paddy fields, 388 mu of dry farmland, 1,508 mu of mountainous land, 550 mu of fruit orchards, and 250 mu of aquaculture areas. In 2010, the total rural economic income was 10.05 million yuan, comprising 7.7 million yuan from the primary industry, 1.05 million yuan from the secondary industry, and 1.3 million yuan from the tertiary industry, with an average per capita net income of 5,460 yuan for farmers.
