Hunei Ancient Tomb Cluster

The Hunei Ancient Tomb Cluster is a cultural heritage site protected by Zhao’an County.

The ancient tombs in Hunei Lake date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties and are located in Hunei Village, Jinxing Township. They are classified as ancient burial sites.

On February 6, 2015, the ancient tombs in Hunei Lake were designated as part of the fifteenth batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Zhao’an County.

Protected area: an extension of 60 meters east, west, south, and north from the Tomb of Shen Zhou, Tomb of Shen Zuoxiang, Tomb of Madam Lin Zhenhui, Tomb of General Shen Rui Zhou, Tomb of Mr. and Mrs. Shen Jianqiu, and the tomb sacrificial platforms.

Hunei Village: Located at the foot of Jiuhou Mountain in Jinxing Township, Hunei Village has 1,136 households, a total population of 4,262, and 90 Party members. The village covers a cultivated land area of 3,800 mu. The main economic activities include fruit and vegetable farming, cash crop cultivation, and migrant work. In recent years, with strong support from the township Party committee and government, the entire village has united to comprehensively advance the construction of a new socialist countryside.
