Meifeng Puan

Meifeng Puan is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhao’an County.

Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, Meifeng Puan is located in Huan Natural Village, Meifeng Village, Nanzhao Town, and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On April 17, 2013, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit at the county level in the 14th batch announced by Zhao’an County.

The protected area extends 4 meters east, west, and south of the temple, and 30 meters north, encompassing the Stone Buddha.

Meifeng Village: Located in the northwest of Nanzhao Town government seat, 0.6 kilometers directly away, Meifeng Village borders Dongxi River to the east, Shenqiao Town to the west, Beiguan Community Committee to the south, and the mountainous border of Xigu Mountain Lin Cuokeng and Chishui Stream to the north. The settlement is built along the western bank of the Dongxi River, taking on a Big Dipper shape. It includes eight natural villages: Yuduntou, Xiameitang, Longxinglou, Puan, Hucuche, Shangmeitang, Xiucailiao, and Dutou (comprising two production groups). The village committee is located next to National Highway 324 in the Nanzhao section (opposite Zhao’an Vocational and Technical School).
