Baishi Filial Piety Archway

The Baishi Filial Piety Archway is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao’an County.

The Baishi Filial Piety Archway dates back to the Qing Dynasty. It is located at the border of Shangyun Mountain in Baishi Village, Baiyang Township, and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

On April 17, 2013, it was designated as part of the 14th batch of County-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units in Zhao’an County.

Protected area: 10 meters east, west, south, and north of the stone archway.

Baishi Village: Located in the northwest of Zhao’an, Baishi Village borders Yangshan Village to the east, Shenhu Village to the west, Tingyang Village to the north, and Yulou Village to the south. The village covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers and includes four natural settlements: Baishi, Xiaweitou, Shan’ziding, and Daiyun. The village has a total of 1,150 households and a population of 3,500. The arable land area is 2,800 mu, including 1,200 mu of paddy fields and 1,600 mu of dry farmland. The notable scenic spot Baishi An is located here. The main crops grown in the village include rice, longan, and lychee.
