The Huang Ancestral Hall of Wutong

The Huang Ancestral Hall of Wutong is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao’an County.

The Huang Ancestral Hall of Wutong, dating back to the Qing Dynasty, is located in Wutong Village, Xiage Town, and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On April 17, 2013, the Huang Ancestral Hall of Wutong was designated as part of the 14th batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Zhao’an County.

Protected area: 20 meters to the south of the hall, 10 meters to the east and west, and 5 meters to the north.

Wutong Village: Wutong Village is located in the northeastern part of Xiage Town, Zhao’an County, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the town government. It borders Xiuzhuan Town to the northwest, Guanbei Town to the north, Zhuangxi Village to the west, and faces Xidong Village across the Dongxi River to the east. To the south lies Nanpi Village. The Zhao-Ping Highway runs through the village, providing convenient transportation. Covering an area of 28 square kilometers, the village has 1,355 mu of arable land and 24,600 mu of mountainous land. It administers 16 communities including Shenqiuli, Jinkou, Pulinxia, Chizhuping, Ma’anshi, Chenkeng, Chenyangkeng, Kangbeitian, Xinlouzi, Wutu, Xiatu, Humei, Fengtianyang, Liaozai, Maziju, and Bantou.
