Shanghu Guan Yu Temple

The Shanghu Guan Yu Temple is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao’an County.

The Shanghu Guan Yu Temple dates back to the Qing Dynasty. It is located south of Shanghu Village in Sidu Town and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On April 17, 2013, the Shanghu Guan Yu Temple was designated as part of the 14th batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Zhao’an County.

Protected area: the temple wall extends 50 meters east, 3 meters west, and 2 meters to the south and north respectively.

Shanghu Village: Shanghu Village is located at the junction of Sidu Town and Hongshan Township in Changting County, Longyan City. It is situated 35 kilometers away from the town center of Sidu Town and lies in a remote and outlying area.

Shanghu Village consists of two natural villages: Shanghu and Wuni (divided into two villager groups). The village office is located in Shanghu. The entire village has a population of 73 households, totaling 366 people. The village Party branch has 16 members, including one female Party member, and comprises one Party group. There are five members on the village’s two committees, and the village affairs supervision committee consists of three members, including one director.
