Gongkou Tianhou Temple is a cultural heritage protection unit of Zhao'an County.

Gongkou Tianhou Temple dates back to the Ming Dynasty. It is located in Gongkou Village, Meiling Town, and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On April 17, 2013, Gongkou Tianhou Temple was announced as part of the 14th batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Zhao'an County.

Protected area: Extending east to cliff carvings outside the temple, 85 meters to the west, 7 meters to the north, 2 meters to the south, including the Wangye Temple and five banyan trees.

Gongkou Village: Gongkou Village is situated southwest of the Meiling Town government seat, at a direct distance of 4.5 kilometers. It lies at the estuary of Gongkou Harbor, bordering Xuanzhong (Little Xuanzhong) to the east and Chishi Bay to the south. The village administers one natural settlement—Gongkou—and the village committee is located here. The population includes mixed surnames such as Zhang, Chen, Shen, and Bai, with settlements forming a rectangular layout. There are 370 households, 1,397 people, all Han ethnicity, speaking Southern Min dialect, organized into three villager groups. The terrain is flat, with both fishing and farming activities. The arable land area is 369 mu, including 96 mu of paddy fields and 273 mu of dry farmland. Main crops include sweet potatoes, peanuts, and rice.
