The Ancestral Hall of the Zhao Clan in Yintang is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

The Ancestral Hall of the Zhao Clan in Yintang is located in Yintang Village, Fengshan Town, Hua’an County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Introduction: Originally built in the 30th year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1602), the existing structure is from the Qing Dynasty. It faces east and consists of a front hall, an inner courtyard, a covered corridor, the main hall, and other sections, covering an area of 740 square meters. The main hall has three bays in width and four columns in depth, featuring a raised-beam wooden frame and a flush-gable roof. Associated cultural relics include a pair of drum stones with scroll patterns and four stone flagpoles.

In 2013, the Ancestral Hall of the Zhao Clan in Yintang was announced as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: Extending 120 meters east, 63 meters west, 47 meters south, and 43 meters north from the drip line of the eaves of the ancestral hall.

Yintang Village: Yintang Village is an administrative village under Fengshan Town, Hua’an County, Zhangzhou City. It is located along the lower reaches of the Beixi River of the Jiulong River, where the land lies at the foot of mountains and beside water, making it a picturesque land of fish and rice. To the east, it borders Changtai County, approximately 20 kilometers from downtown Changtai; to the west, it faces the suburban area of Zhangzhou City across the river, about 20 kilometers from downtown Zhangzhou; to the south, it neighbors Huping Village, Fengshan Town, about 3 kilometers from the Fengshan Town government.

[Village and Residents] Yintang Village covers an area of 8 square kilometers, with a population of over 2,700, more than 700 households, two natural villages, and 18 villager groups.
