North Canal Leisure Tourism Station

The North Canal Leisure Tourism Station is located in the northern part of Wuqing District, at the confluence of the North Canal and the Longfeng River, covering a planned area of 1,200 acres. Leveraging the surrounding ecological advantages—such as an intricate network of waterways, lush greenery, and a wild, natural charm—the project aims to establish itself as a “leisure and vacation base for residents of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.” It is planned to include historical and cultural zones such as the Kangxi-Qianlong Palace Station, RV campsites, a children’s amusement island, a floral viewing garden, and a Nanxinzhuang specialty farmhouse experience area. The site also offers recreational activities such as painted pleasure boats, electric sightseeing vehicles, pedal boats, bicycles, self-balancing scooters, and outdoor large-scale children’s play equipment. Supporting facilities include the North Canal Boutique Garden Hotel, a Canal Town specialty dining area, a waterside teahouse, and a self-service picnic area.
