The stone carvings at Yang Jie’s Tomb are a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

The stone carvings at Yang Jie’s Tomb are located in Yuxing Township, Tianchang City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Yang Jie (1618–1700), originally from Baoying, Jiangsu Province, served as the Qing Dynasty’s Minister of Imperial Cuisine, General Zhaowu, Junior Guardian, and Senior Guardian of the Heir Apparent, as well as Commander-in-Chief of the Jiangnan Army. A lifelong military man, he achieved numerous military successes and was posthumously honored with the titles of Junior Tutor and Senior Tutor to the Heir Apparent. The tomb was built in the 24th year of the Kangxi reign (1685), featuring a large earthen mound. In front of the tomb lies a 400-meter-long and 30-meter-wide sacred path that slopes from west to east, paved with bricks. The site includes a pair of memorial archways, a pair of stele pavilions, seven sets of stone statues, and one pair of stone pillars, creating an imposing and majestic overall atmosphere. The stone carvings in front of the tomb are exquisitely shaped and crafted, demonstrating high scientific and artistic value, and are designated as a provincial-level key cultural relic protection unit.
