Yilan is close to Taipei, making it an ideal weekend getaway. Beyond hot springs, take a stroll around the fishing port and enjoy a seafood journey.

Famous throughout Taiwan for its “fresh and affordable catch,” the freshly caught seafood here is plump and delicious. Around 3 PM, fishing boats returning from sea gradually dock, drawing crowds and bringing liveliness to the fish market.

Blessed with rich natural resources and unique scenery, along with a deep historical and cultural background, this area has long been a popular destination for all kinds of travel activities. Whether you choose the mountain route via the Yuchang Tunnel or the coastal route, each offers its own stunning views.
