Taipei 101’s New Year’s Eve fireworks are coming soon. Rather than staring skyward beneath the tower, here are six excellent spots along Xiangshan Trail where you can take in the full spectacle from above alongside “Bear King,” as well as soak up the night views of Taipei City. Visitors heading to Xiangshan can take the MRT to Xiangshan Station Exit 2. Once outside the station, you’ll see trail signage, and there’s even a QR code at the trailhead that links to Google Maps for guidance.
