Taipei 101’s New Year's Eve fireworks show is approaching. Rather than craning your neck beneath the tower, here are six excellent vantage points along Xiangshan Trail where you can enjoy the full spectacle from above, just like “Bear King,” while taking in the nighttime cityscape of Taipei. Visitors heading to Xiangshan can take the MRT to Xiangshan Station Exit 2 — the trail signage is visible right outside the station, and there’s a QR code at the trailhead that links directly to Google Maps for navigation.

Approximately 430m from Lingyun Temple, a 15-minute walk.
