Tianchang Wangfu Platform

The Tianchang Wangfu Platform is a cultural heritage protection unit of Tianchang City.

The Tianchang Wangfu Platform is located in Yuanshan Village Group, Heping Village, Chajian Town. It dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties, is categorized as an ancient architectural structure, and covers an area of 600 square meters. It is among the second batch of cultural heritage protection units in Tianchang City, with the official announcement number Tian Zheng [1986] No. 144.

Protected Area: A 10-meter buffer zone extending from the perimeter of the site is designated as the protected area.

Construction Control Zone: A 40-meter buffer zone extending from the perimeter of the site is designated as the construction control zone.

Chajian Town: Chajian Town is one of Anhui Province’s 200 central established towns and one of the province’s 30 pilot towns for reform and development. Formerly known as the “Little Nanyang,” it is located in the western part of Tianchang City in eastern Anhui, within the “Yangtze River Delta” region and the one-hour metropolitan economic circle of Nanjing. It serves as a key corridor for the east-west industrial gradient transfer in China.

The town enjoys convenient transportation, with National Highway 205 (Ninglian First-Class Highway) and the newly constructed Ninghuai Expressway running north-south through the area, while Provincial Highway 312 cuts across it east-west. It holds a prominent geographical advantage, being just about 70 kilometers away from the major cities of Yangzhou, Chuzhou, Nanjing, and Huai’an in the east, west, south, and north respectively...
