Wawudun Site

The Wawudun Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Tianchang City.

The Wawudun Site is located in Wawu Village, Laoshan Village, Zhengji Town, Tianchang City. Dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties, it is classified as an ancient site, covering an area of 3,000 square meters. It is among the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Tianchang City, with the announcement document number Tianzheng [2011] No. 99.

Protected Area: Extends 10 meters from the perimeter of the site.

Construction Control Zone: Extends 20 meters from the perimeter of the site.

Laoshan Village: Laoshan Village is located in the southern part of Zhengji Town, with a total cultivated land area of 4,467 mu, an agricultural population of 3,062, and 778 households divided into 28 villager groups. The area includes two major reservoirs, Yaozhuang and Dongfeng, as well as two forest farms, Tushan and Laoshan. It has attracted investment for the development of the Baoyuan Iron Mine and beneficiation plant, and has drawn toy enterprises such as Zhenxiang and Huachang.
