The ruins of the Wu King City in Laian are a cultural heritage protection unit of Laian County.

The ruins of the Wu King City in Laian are located in Leiguan Town, dating back to the Three Kingdoms period. They are classified as an ancient site, covering an area of 81,200 square meters. They were designated as part of the first batch of cultural heritage protection units in Laian County, with the announcement document number Laizheng [1987] No. 69.

Protected area: within 20 meters of the city wall is the protected zone.

Construction control zone: extends 60 meters outward from the protected area.

Leiguan Town: The ancient town of Leiguan is one of the eight major market towns in Laian County. It is located 26 kilometers southeast of the county seat, at the border between Anhui and Jiangsu provinces, adjacent to Nanjing, and close to the Luoyang–Nanjing Expressway and National Highway 104. It is 38 kilometers from downtown Nanjing and just one hour’s drive to Nanjing Airport. The town enjoys convenient land and water transportation, a favorable policy environment, and a harmonious social and cultural atmosphere.

The town currently covers a land area of 93 square kilometers, governs 24 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 30,845. Agriculture remains the dominant industry, making it a land of fish and rice north of the Yangtze River.
