The Wuqing District Youth Activity Center is a science education base.

The Wuqing District Youth Activity Center, affiliated with the Wuqing District Education Bureau, is the only multifunctional, comprehensive extracurricular activity venue for young people in the district that integrates art, science and technology, culture, and sports. It is also a national-level science education base. The center covers a total area of 286 mu, with a total construction area of 14,684 square meters. It is equipped with complete facilities, including specialized classrooms for dance, calligraphy and painting, vocal music, piano, electronic keyboard, and computers, as well as nearly 100 functional rooms such as rehearsal halls and exhibition halls, all outfitted with multimedia teaching equipment. It also has an advanced children’s theater with 535 seats, capable of hosting various performances, film screenings, academic exchanges, and more. The center places great emphasis on youth science education, maintaining both full-time and part-time science education teams, and actively organizes engaging and educational science activities for young people.
