The Qixian Ancient City Ruins are a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Anhui Province.

The Qixian Ancient City Ruins are located within Qixian Town, about 20 kilometers south of Suzhou City.

National Highway 206 runs through the city, making it the earliest discovered ancient city in Anhui Province. Established as Qixian County during the Qin dynasty's unification of China, it was renamed Qicheng Commandery in the Liang Dynasty, reverted to Qixian County in the Sui Dynasty, and was abolished and relocated to Suzhou in the Yuan Dynasty. With a history of over 2,200 years, Qixian Town has a deep historical background and is the birthplace of the famous Dazexiang Uprising led by Chen Sheng and Wu Guang in 209 BC.

In 1988, the Qixian Ancient City Ruins were listed as a provincial-level cultural heritage protection area. Here, Qin bricks and Han tiles can be found everywhere. Notable sites include the Pointing Generals’ Platform, where Chen Sheng and Wu Guang assembled their army; Snowflake Mountain, the tomb of Chen Xuehua, Chen Sheng’s sister; the Three Sages Temple built in memory of Chen Sheng and Wu Guang; and the red fruit tree planted by Chen Sheng himself in front of the temple. The ancient battlefields to the east and west of the town are also renowned — the Dazexiang Uprising, Emperor Liu Bang's campaign against Ying Bu, the King of Huainan, and the fierce battles of the Huaihai Campaign at Shuangduiji all took place here. Legendary sights such as One Step, Two Bridges; Fish Rushing to Market; Star-Gazing Terrace; and Twin Dragons Playing with a Pearl can still be faintly seen. Local specialties like Horse Hoof Pancakes and Huihe River Carp are widely famous.

This place boasts rich cultural landscapes and is a tourism destination ripe for development. It connects seamlessly with nearby attractions such as the Huaihai Campaign Martyrs' Cemetery in Shuangduiji, the Tomb of Minzi, Min Ancestral Hall, the former residence of Bai Juyi – Fushu Pavilion, the Tomb of Yuji, and the ancient battlefield of Gaixia, all within easy reach.
