Tianjin Yangliuqing Ancient Town Style Street
During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Yangliuqing was a hub of folk art in northern China. It gave birth to Yangliuqing New Year paintings, the foremost among China’s four major woodblock New Year paintings, as well as renowned folk art treasures such as Yangliuqing kites and paper-cutting, both celebrated in Tianjin and Beijing. Yangliuqing brick carvings, stone carvings, and folk flower festivals were also magnificent sights of their time.
Yangliuqing Manor is located in Beidalitan Village, north of Yangliuqing Town, adjacent to the Shi Family Courtyard, known as the “Number One Mansion in North China,” enjoying a prime geographical location. The entire manor covers nearly 800 acres, with a green coverage rate of up to 90%, and is a large-scale ecological leisure tourism destination integrating business meetings, leisure entertainment, tourism shopping, fruit picking, fishing, and dining and accommodation.
In 2008, it was awarded the title of “Most Beautiful Village” by Tianjin Television Station and Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Tourism. It is now a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a featured rural tourism spot in Tianjin.
