The Main Teaching Building of Anhui Agricultural University

The Qinzhen Building of Anhui Agricultural University was originally called the First Teaching Building and was renamed Qinzhen Building in 2010. Construction started in 1953 and was completed in 1954. The building has a total floor area of 7,913.7 square meters, a brick-and-wood structure, is 12.35 meters high, has three floors above ground, faces north-south, and has a sloped roof. The walls are made of thick solid clay bricks, with single-layer single-slope wooden windows, terrazzo flooring, and the exterior facade is finished with cement mortar and washed stone. The building has a regular floor plan that emphasizes central symmetry, with a gradually rising façade design. It features tall interior spaces, a relatively large overall scale, and high-quality design and construction. It is a typical example of Soviet-style architecture and holds significant value.

Protected area: Extending 5 meters outward from the main body of the building.

Construction control zone: Outside the protected area, 50 meters to the east, west, and north, and extending to the planned red line on the north side of Changjiang Road to the south.
