Polaris Outdoors, in collaboration with Shushan Adventure and the Banff Mountain Film Festival, will bring the Banff Mountain Film Festival Chengdu Special Screening to Orange Sky Golden Harvest Cinema (Raffles City branch) on September 12 at 2:00 PM. Since its inception in 1976, the Banff Mountain Film Festival has been held annually in Banff National Park, Canada, dedicated to promoting the creativity and spirit of exploration inherent in mountain culture. For this event, Polaris Outdoors has carefully selected 10 outstanding outdoor films for Chengdu’s outdoor enthusiasts, covering activities such as mountaineering, skiing, rock climbing, cycling, BASE jumping, slacklining, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The entire screening session will last over two and a half hours, offering Chengdu’s outdoor community a rich cinematic feast. In addition, the screening will feature a special sharing session with Su La Wangping, founder of the Sichuan-Tibet Mountaineering Team, who will discuss his remarkable outdoor journey. This will allow audiences to witness the efforts and growth of China’s outdoor community, inspiring more people to explore the outdoors and embrace life.
