The 5th Southwest Guangxi Tourism Carnival officially opened from November 1st to 11th. Five alliance scenic spots (Guangxi Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area, Mingshi Countryside Scenic Area, Tongling Grand Canyon Scenic Area, Guangxi Longhu Mountain Scenic Area, and Gulongshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area) will be available on Tmall’s Southwest Guangxi Tourism Flagship Store, Ctrip, Qunar, and Tongcheng.
This event marks the 9th anniversary of the establishment of the Detian Tourism Alliance. With the theme “9th Anniversary, 9 Means ‘Happy’ Play,” highlights include “Buy 2 Get 1 Free (except for 30% off Detian tickets),” “9.9 Yuan Ticket Flash Sale,” and “99 Yuan Hotel Flash Sale.” On November 3rd, 10th, and 11th at 10:00 AM, the “9.9 Yuan Ticket Flash Sale” will take place on four sales platforms, while the “99 Yuan Hotel Flash Sale” will be held on Tmall’s Southwest Guangxi Tourism Flagship Store. "Sacred Land of Changliu" — Detian Transnational Waterfall
Guangxi Detian Transnational Waterfall is not only rated as the most beautiful waterfall in China and the largest transnational waterfall in Asia but also the filming location of the hit fantasy drama “The Journey of Flower.” In the drama, Bai Zihua’s “Detached Palace” and the heavenly realm where the immortals reside — Changliu Mountain — are filmed here.
In autumn, the Detian Transnational Waterfall enters its most stunning golden season. The waterfall surges mightily into the Guichun River and then flows gently along the border between the two countries, nurturing a land of harvest — both mystical and down-to-earth.
