Zhangjiawo Edible Fungus Leisure Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Zhangjiawo Town Modern Agriculture Industrial Park is located on both sides of Fangdian Road in Zhangjiawo Town, Xiqing District, Tianjin. It is a key demonstration park for modern agriculture in Tianjin. In accordance with the requirements of leisure, sightseeing, and tourism-oriented agriculture, we engaged experts from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to conduct an overall plan for the park’s 5,000 acres of land. The development plan includes five major bases—flowers, edible fungi, organic fruits and vegetables, garden horticulture, and premium jujubes—as well as two centers: a high-tech modern agriculture incubation center and a flower exhibition and trading center. Among them, the flower base houses 8.6 million potted plants, primarily Phalaenopsis, making it the largest Phalaenopsis production and distribution base in Xiqing District, offering year-round floral scenery. The edible fungus base produces 40 tons of edible fungi per day, mainly king oyster mushrooms. The specially developed mushroom products are highly favored by visitors, and the Edible Fungus Culture Exhibition Hall showcases the history and culture of edible fungi. The Ganoderma Garden offers self-produced ganoderma slices and spore powder to meet visitors’ health needs. The Premium Jujube Base integrates four functions: variety preservation, sightseeing and picking, technological demonstration, and jujube tree exhibitions. The garden horticulture base raises native chickens and black chickens, providing free-range eggs and chicken meat. The farmhouse restaurant can accommodate 1,000 diners and 200 overnight guests simultaneously. The park features a beautiful overall layout, distinct landscape layers, standardized management, and attentive service, fully meeting visitors’ needs for “eating, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment.” Here, visitors can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the serene natural countryside scenery.

Currently, the Edible Fungus Culture Exhibition Hall opened to the public in July. The leisure fishing area and premium grape picking garden are under construction and are planned to officially open to the public in July next year.
