Dangcheng Fort Site

The Dangcheng Fort Site is a Tianjin Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Dangcheng Fort Site is located 800 meters west of Dangcheng Village, Xinkou Town, Xiqing District, Tianjin, and dates back to the Song Dynasty.

On January 5, 2013, it was announced by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government as part of the fourth batch of Tianjin Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Xinkou Town: Xinkou Town is located in the southwest of Xiqing District. It borders Zhangjiawo Town to the east, the Duliujianhe River to the south (forming a boundary with Liangwangzhuang Township of Jinghai County), Hebei Province’s Bazhou Market Fen’gang Township to the west, and connects to Qiansangyuan Village, Yangliuqing, to the north. Covering an area of 51.13 square kilometers, it administers 18 administrative villages.

The town government includes the Party Committee Office, the People's Congress Office, the Government Office, the Agriculture Office, the Discipline Inspection Commission, the Armed Forces Department, the Women's Federation, the Youth League Committee, the Organization Department, the Archives Room, the Culture & Broadcasting Station, the Civil Affairs Office, the Finance Office, the Family Planning Office, the Construction Management Station, the Transport Management Office, the Education Commission Office, the Legal Service Office, the Comprehensive Governance Office, and more.
