Wuhu Phoenix Food Street is situated in the thriving heart of Wuhu and is closely linked to popular city sites including Wuhu Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, Jiuhua Square, and Jihe Square. The street offers convenient transportation in all directions and is a high-quality, high-standard, professionally managed specialty commercial area focused on food and dining. Named after its location at the foot of the western side of Phoenix Mountain—and with the phoenix symbolizing good fortune in Chinese folklore while “food” highlights the street’s core theme—it was officially designated as “Phoenix Food Street” in November 2000 upon approval by relevant authorities.

The total project investment exceeded 80 million yuan. The architecture of Phoenix Food Street embodies a people-oriented design philosophy, featuring upscale and exquisitely crafted buildings, noble granite-paved pathways, a grand southern entrance adorned with a towering phoenix sculpture, an elegant colonnaded northern gateway, a spacious and bright central cultural plaza, a dreamy musical dry fountain, three parking lots, three multimedia touchscreens, a variety of finely designed landscape features, artistic lighting that creates a captivating night scene, and a massive color electronic screen. All these elements make it a stunning urban landmark in Wuhu.
