Wang Shunchang’s Residence

Wang Shunchang’s Residence is a traditional Huizhou-style building located in Huizhou, Anhui. Originally situated in Latang Village, Xixinan Township, it was relocated to Qingyuan in 2000. Qingyuan is in Huizhou District, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, and is part of the Qiankou Folk House Museum.

Oriented to the southeast, it consists of two three-courtyard complexes, one in front and one at the back, with a total width of 9.8 meters and a total depth of 17.46 meters. The current height is 9.2 meters, and it covers an area of 206.03 square meters. The rear courtyard was built earlier than the front. There is also a separate hall on the south side of the residence, which was originally used as a private school. This residence provides a rare example for the study of the rich and diverse styles of Huizhou architecture.
