This marks a significant achievement in China’s intangible cultural heritage sector during the golden autumn season and is also a highly anticipated event in the country’s cultural and tourism industry.

Attending the inauguration ceremony of Fuhua Resort World and ICH Huizhou Street were 300 distinguished guests, including Kong Xiaohong, Deputy Secretary of the Huangshan Municipal Committee and Mayor; Ji Xiaonan, macroeconomist, Chairman of the SASAC Supervision Board, and Leader of the Central Ninth Inspection Team; Cheng Yingfeng, Director of the Huangshan Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee; Bi Feifei, Chairman of the Huangshan Municipal CPPCC; Zhang Jianzhong, Deputy Director of the Asian Tourism Center under the National Tourism Administration; Wang Qiyuan, President of the China Asia Leisure Industry Promotion Association, Member of the China Tourism Reform and Development Advisory Committee, and Advisor to the Beijing Municipal People's Government; Liu Hanqi, Secretary-General of the National Leisure Standardization Technical Committee; Lang Senzan, Secretary-General of the International Leisure Industry Association; Wang Xin, Chairman of Fuhua Group; and Xu Zhiyong, President of Fuhua Cultural & Commercial Company. In addition, over 100 media reporters were present. The event was bustling with an enthusiastic crowd, and according to incomplete statistics, the daily visitor count exceeded 50,000.

Fuhua Resort World in Huangshan is an innovative international resort destination invested with 2 billion RMB by Fuhua Group. It consists of two major parts: the global Fuhua resort brand — Libre Resort World, and ICH Huizhou Street. It perfectly combines material enjoyment with spiritual enrichment, aiming to create a new landmark for Huangshan tourism, pioneer a new resort living experience, and define a new standard for luxury travel accommodation.

Among them, Libre Resort World offers a premium six-star light luxury experience and pioneers the domestic “all-inclusive price” resort model. Teaming up with the Magic Crew team from top-tier hotel management companies in the United States, France, and Italy, it provides one-stop, perfect services for family vacations. Elderly guests, children, couples, and even pets can all enjoy world-class, thoughtful service here and find their ideal comfortable holiday retreat.

The Wild Hootz Adventure Children’s Theme Park features Asia’s largest children’s slide from the high-end British David Tylor brand, a 1,000-square-meter DIY mural world, various treehouses, trampolines, climbing walls, and more. The Wild Valley Pet-Themed Hotel offers top-tier care for beloved pets. The high-end international hot spring, meticulously built by Japan’s renowned hot spring team “Onsen no Kuni,” provides an ultimate indulgence for both body and mind.

ICH Huizhou Street is truly the crown jewel of Fuhua’s Huangshan Resort World. It is the opening work of Fuhua Group’s journey to conquer the “path of ICH practice.” It is China’s first intangible cultural heritage master-partner platform and home to the masters of Huizhou’s intangible cultural heritage.

ICH Huizhou Street gathers dozens of masters specializing in the essence of Huizhou’s intangible cultural heritage, such as Huizhou ink, Xuan paper, Huizhou brushes, bamboo carving, brick carving, stone carving, wood carving, inkstone carving, bamboo weaving, paper-cutting, printmaking, lacquerware, copperware, porcelain, and traditional Chinese painting, along with hundreds of related ICH cultural and creative products. With master workshops and experience halls as its main elements, it authentically restores the rich and genuine cultural heritage of Huizhou. The street is dedicated to creating a 360-degree immersive cultural travel experience that educates through entertainment, blends learning with travel, and allows visitors to subtly absorb the essence of Huizhou culture through close interaction with ICH masters, opening up new possibilities for the promotion and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage skills.

The entire Huizhou Street presents a multi-format experiential showcase themed around “treasures, freshness, tea, brewing, grinding, carving, weaving, ware, calligraphy, cakes, and incense,” immersing visitors in a cultural experience of “hundreds of artisans, sceneries, flavors, specialties, and tastings,” and bringing the “living history and culture of intangible heritage” to life.

In the Huizhou Study, inkstone carving master Sun Rui, the shopkeeper, leads everyone to personally experience the making processes of ink by Cheng Shushi, paper by Xing Chunrong, and brushes by Zhang Wenian, allowing visitors to fall in love with the “cultural Huizhou” of brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones at a glance.

In the Carving Memories section, bamboo carving master Jiang Yongqing, stone carving master Hu Xiaoshi, brick carving master Wu Zhenghui, and lacquerware master Yu Junpeng vividly interpret the “Huizhou on the tip of the knife” with their flying carvings.

Bamboo weaving master Cao Dequan, guqin and zheng master Zhou Qingyan, and porcelain master Jiang Yongsheng captivate visitors instantly with their stunning works, making everyone fall in love with the “Huizhou at your fingertips.”

“A Sprig of Bamboo from Huangshan” — traditional Chinese painting master Fang Zengwei, with wit and flair, vividly captures the “Huizhou on the tip of the brush” through his expressive brushwork.

Copperware master Hu Ming, with his persevering spirit, creates captivating “Unrelenting Ware” copper pieces, adorning people’s refined lives with minimalist aesthetic concepts.

Huizhou paper-cutting master Wu Xiaomei and printmaking master Xue Yin, both women excelling where many men might not, use superb craftsmanship and innovative concepts to endow traditional art with a new international aesthetic, helping traditional culture step out of Huizhou, across the nation, and into the world.

The Tianzhihong Tea Ceremony House and Jinyuantang Incense Ceremony House feature elegant tea fairies and incense fairies who guide visitors in appreciating the refined lifestyle aesthetics of ancient Huizhou.

The Huizhou New Year Flavor, Huizhou Local Cuisine Restaurant, Huangshan Lake Delicacies, Huisan Huangshan Harbor, the Little Tavern, and Huifu Wucheng Rice Wine stimulate the taste buds with authentic local flavors, leading everyone to savor the true taste of Huizhou and “get drunk on Huizhou.” The Landmark Mall offers a collection of signature specialties from around the region, allowing visitors to enjoy delicacies from all over without leaving Huizhou Street.

At ICH Huizhou Street, every visitor is both a participant in “intangible heritage” and a inheritor of culture. The enduring craftsmanship, skills, demeanor, and heritage are reborn before visitors’ eyes, in their hands, and in their hearts.

The inauguration of ICH Huizhou Street also attracted China’s most cutting-edge online influencer platforms to participate in promotional collaborations. Dozens of influencers and live streamers spontaneously promoted ICH Huizhou Street through live broadcasts and short videos, attracting millions of fans to watch online, with daily sales exceeding 1 million RMB. This has also opened up new avenues for the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage.

And this is just the beginning of Fuhua’s efforts to create a living ICH historical block and craft a brand-new experiential feast of ICH culture.

Currently, leveraging its strong capital strength and resource advantages, Fuhua Group is simultaneously developing trillion-yuan-scale ICH platforms in Lijiang, Jiuzhaigou, Jinan, Changchun, and other locations, rapidly forming a nationwide industrial layout. It aims to contribute to the inheritance of China’s intangible cultural heritage and the cultural renaissance of the Chinese nation.

ICH Huizhou Street shines in the golden autumn, and cultural revival illuminates China. We look forward to the socially responsible Fuhua Group, following the resplendent success of ICH Huizhou Street, continuing to write new glorious chapters on the path of promoting intangible cultural heritage.
